The Old School is a fabulous area for dogs especially if they like swimming. We do ask that dogs stay off the bedding and that owners pick up any mess in the enclosed area around the hut or Studio
There are fenced in areas at your accomodation (We are in the process of making an area at the studio (Oct 2024) so you can allow the dog some freedom, safe in the knowledge that they can not run off.
In the Hut, there is a second fenced in area, that allows access to the river.
Beaches of Interest
Millendreath beach - just 20 mins away is dog friendly after 6pm and allows beach BBQ.
Seaton Beach- Dog friendly no restrictions. It’s a huge beach that you can go in a really long walk with your dog.

Areas on our doorstep
We are on the edge of The moors which are great for exploring. Dogs should be on leads during lambing season and in marked fields.
Siblyback Lake is just behind us and is great for Morning exercise. Although Dogs should be kept on lead, the lake is a 4 mile circular walk straight out of our gate and the take the next gate on the left. There is a great Cafe (Olive & Co.) at the head of the lake where there is a free exercise paddock where your dog can run around off the lead to their hearts content.
Golitha falls - 15 mins walk away is the natural Golitha Falls. Again, Dog Friendly if they are on their leads. Some parts are slippery and rough, although recently new wooded paths have been made. Its not on the same scale as Niagra Falls!, but beautiful nevertheless.
Monty and Barnaby (our two chocolate Labradors) fresh from a dip in the River that runs in front of the old school. Monty's favourite thing to do on a warm day.
If you need to go out and can’t take your four legged bestie with you, there is a doggie day care at Pelynt Kennels which we highly recommend - link here: Home - Pelynt Kennels
